A bridge collapsed due to flood and heavy rain in Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil on Wednesday (May 1).

The bridge on RSC 287, located between the Santa Maria Air Base and the access junction for Silveira Martins at kilometer 227 on the Arroio Grande River.

Emergency services are responding to the scene, and authorities urge motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
