Shahril: It's not the end of the road for Syed Saddiq

Former Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan believes that although Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman was found guilty in his case on November 9th, it is not the end of his political career.

In the latest episode of the ‘Keluar Sekejap’ podcast, Shahril said the case will still go on at the court of appeal and in the worst-case scenario Syed Saddiq has already created a big 'brand equity' so he will not be forgotten.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court had found Syed Saddiq guilty in an RM1.12 million misappropriation case and sentenced him to seven years in jail and RM10 million fine, there is a stay of execution on the sentence pending his appeal.
