Gisborne City Council and the New Zealand Geographical Board are considering whether to change the name Poverty Bay back to the original Tūranganui-a-Kiwa after a petition initiated by Kaiti School in 2013. Master carver Aturangi Nepia-Clamp and retiree Mike Mulrooney debate the issue. Teacher Ani Te Kani and pupil Connor Paenga talk about the history of the area, the impact of colonialism and James Cook's arrival in the Endeavour.
