When Martin enters a contest to discover supernatural local legends in the Town of Torrington, he comes across a story about a teenager who, long ago, was accused of being a warlock and was mysteriously banished by the locals. Coincidentally, Martin starts to get strange messages from beyond – written on his steamy mirror after a shower; cryptic voices on his voice mail, etc (think “Ring”). Martin tells Diana that he thinks the “warlock” he’s been researching is trying to contact him. As they investigate further, they gather clues that reveal the teen was magically cast out by the locals -- his spirit condemned for all eternity to an old well. Convinced that this person was wrongly accused of being a warlock, Martin is determined to free the spirit to make things right. Diana, on the other hand, is skeptical and urges Martin to leave it alone. Of course Martin frees the spirit. And as it turns out the spirit is actually very evil – and in fact a real warlock! Martin has been duped. The warlock immediately sets about getting revenge on everyone by casting spells on them -- turning them into toads, goats and other creatures. Ultimately, the warlock wants to rule the area again. It’s up to Martin to undo what’s he’s done by capturing the spirit and sequestering it once again. In a b-story, Diana, Billy and Java confront Martin about never listening to them.🇺🇸 16 year-old Martin Mystery loves slime and has a wild passion for all things paranormal. Luckily, when he is not at school, he works undercover as an investigator for a secret bureau specialising in mysterious phenomena!
