In this ninja fighting techniques video, I teach how to fight against a two hand grab for self defense.

The ninja had to learn how to fight and to be able to protect themselves (self defense) while on a mission. One of the traditional schools of martial arts the ninja would train in is called “Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu”, which translates out as “Jeweled Tiger School of Muscle Tearing”. In Gyokko-ryu, there is a secret fighting technique called “Keo” which means: “Fierce Seagull”.

In this traditional taijutsu kata, once the opponent comes up with a two hand grab, strike both of the hands down, as you do a kick to the groin. From here, the opponent throws a right punch. Step off at block the punch, counter strike with shuto to the temple and finish with a kekomi geri to the opponent before you evade to safety.

This lesson is directly for those training in the traditional Japanese martial arts and self-defense techniques of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).
