*Last Ever GWR HST's to depart Paddington* - 18/5/19 *MEGA TONES*

18th May 2019 marked the end of long distance HST's, operated by Great Western Railway, departing London Paddington. GWR had spent weeks planning this major event to commemorate the Class 43's for their 40 years spent operating from London to the West Country. Their plan was to line all 4 diagrams up at P1-4 at Paddington and have them leave one at a time. Thankfully, every thing went smoothly and perfectly.

GWR had also specifically request that their special liveried 43's were lined up - including 'Harry Patch', Intercity Swallow and 'Sir Kenneth Grange' liveries. The event was quite a tight squeeze with hundreds of enthusiasts ready with their cameras to capture the final ever HST departure.
