I just got a call on the way home from taking my son to baseball, and a gentleman tried to describe this cooler over the phone. Once he mentioned that it was plastic, yet had the lid attached and the handles built in, I knew it was this 1960s Cronstrom FIBERGLASS cooler. You will see a dozen metal versions before you come across this cool variation. I would describe the color as a seafoam green.
These are a more difficult version to come across for collectibility.

And folks will say that the refreshing as the land of sky blue waters is a west or east Coast version. But the fact this was found in Minnesota, complete with the, added valley, fair sticker, leads me to believe that it’s a “native” cooler.

Never has a product matched so perfectly with the project. Flitz was made for fiberglass and it will get out all of the large discoloration sreas and scuffs while polishing the cooler.
