I have been very annoyed at all of the Skarmory & Metagross in PLZA Ranked lately, and when looking for a Pokemon to take them on, Talonflame is who I found. It resists their steel moves, is immune to their ground moves, and has huge, powerful, area of effect fire moves to take them down.

Is talonflame cooked, or is it a monster?

They've never heard of Hidden Power, and cannot fathom needing a couple 30s to check Salamence. Two. You haven't yet learned the joys of RNG manipulating competitive stats yourself. Perhaps it's time you rectified that grievous error. Go dust off your childhood fanny pack, give your GBA CPR, plug in your copy of Pokemon Emerald Version from 2004 and get to work.
