So excited to share the lyric video for my Christmas Worship song, "Everlasting Father". This is one of a 4-song EP titled "Unto Us" which I'll be releasing this year.

The whole project is based off of Isiah 9:6, " For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Each song thematically pulls from those prophetic names of Jesus, and this one points to 'Everlasting Father". It really pictures being at that manger scene, and joining with the angels singing, "Gloria, peace has come, hallelujah, the Father sent His Son".

I really wanted to dive deeper theologically into these songs, to explore the dichotomies of Advent. A mighty God, comes in the form of a child. The king of the world, born in a manger. The celebration of this beautiful gift from God, to know He is a sacrifice for our sins.

Ultimately I wanted this to point to those truths of the advent season, but still be a song that pushes and encourages you to worship and celebrate who Jesus is.
