KamaliniMukherji is a leading exponent of RabindraSangeet among theyounger generation of its
practitioners. She is known for her smart, distinctive style of singing, marked by a deep understanding of the lyrics and a clear diction.
Born and brought up in Kolkata, India, Kamalini was trained in RabindraSangeet from a very young age at Dakshinee, a renowned institution practising and propagating Tagore's music.

Kamalini has several solo RabindraSangeet albums from HMV Saregama. She has had numerous live concerts all over India and USA, and has been regularly appearing on several popular Bengali channels.With the growing encouragement and appreciation she is receiving both in the eastern and the western worlds, her mission is to be able to take this cultural heritage forward into her generation and beyond her country. Kamalini has a Masters Degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, UK, and is a Gold Medalist in English from Jadavpur University, India.

This album "HOTHAT KHUSHI" is a combination of songs blending with instrument Esraj & Flute selection of 10 beautiful Ragas based Tagore songs from Spiritual and Prem reflecting the philosophies of Tagore in various human emotions. Which will be liked and appreciated by the music lovers.
