IRRC Wegrace Hengelo May 2019

The Circuit Varssel, also known as the Varsselring, is a road circuit between Hengelo, Gelderland and Varssel. Every year Ascension Road motorcycles are organized by the HAMOVE on the circuit. This also includes two races for the International Road Racing Championship, IRRC, or between 2003 and 2009 for the Three Country Cup, the predecessor of the IRRC. The circuit is characterized as a narrow, triangular circuit with long fast sections. the longest straight therefore also contains two chicanes built in 2001. Previously there was a temporary chicane on the same straight. Together with the Paalgraven Circuit, the Varsselring is one of only two road circuits still in use in the Netherlands these days.
