Seadoo Water Regulator Valve Fix | Water Leak

Описание к видео Seadoo Water Regulator Valve Fix | Water Leak

In this video, I show you how to fix the water regulator valve on a seadoo. I also teach a quick temporary fix so that your day isn't ruined!

The water regulator red caps are calibrated from the factory and should not be touched. If it has been tampered with or if you would like to verify that it is calibrated correctly, please do the following:

787 Models - 1996/1997 service manual states: Turn in the red cap screw until it is bottomed out. Then turn the cap counterclockwise (loosen) 3 turns. Now it is calibrated.

951 Models - Turn the red screw cap so that it is flush with the top of the black cap. Then, turn counterclockwise (loosen) 2 clicks/notches. It is now calibrated.

According to the late famous PWC guru Bill O'Neal, the water regulator valves work best/most efficiently when they are set opposite of the rave valve caps. For example, if you run the rave caps out towards the top of the cap, run the water regulator screwed down towards the bottom of the cap.

On all other service manuals, BRP does not indicate how to make this calibration. They only provide the message to not adjust it.

For DI (direct injection) models, the water regulator cap is sealed and cannot be adjusted.
