On September,25,1978, a 10 year old 727-214 registration (n533ps). Was serving as Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 182..unfortunately for the plane and its passengers at the time,it would be their last time in the air. After flight 182 collided with a cessna registration (n7711g) 3 miles from the San Diego airport. The 727's wing was damaged and the flight crew could not bring the airplane out of the near dive they were in. This ended with n533ps and n7711g being completely destroyed,also killing everyone on both planes.
