As part of the CARES Act, Federal Student Loans were automatically placed into forbearance, and interest was suspended until September 30, 2020. This means borrowers don't have to make payments for 6 months. But, should you? In this video I talk about both options (continuing to pay vs pausing and building up your savings account), as well as which loans to target if you're following the debt snowball and your Federal Student Loan is your smallest balance debt.
