🇩🇰 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗛𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡! 🇩🇰 Things to Do - Fun History - Colourful Buildings - and why Danes are so dang happy!

Danish bakeries are one of my FAVOURITE things about living here in Copenhagen - the moment you step into one, you're enveloped in the warm, cosy smell of baked bread and treated to a seemingly endless array of delicious pastries and baked goods for you to choose from.

In this video, I take you on a tour of some of Copenhagen's best bakeries AND I do a blind taste test with a Dane (my husband, haha) to see if he can tell the difference between pastries from different bakeries: a cool Copenhagen bakery (Lille Bakery), a traditional Danish bakery, a chain bakery here in Denmark (Lagkagehuset) and a supermarket (Bilka).

Also, particularly if you're not from Denmark and are maybe wondering what to order when you get here, I share my top tips for visiting a Danish bakery and where to find the best pastries.

For high quality, so-called "hipster" bakeries, check out: Lille Bakery, Galst, Juno the Bakery, Hart or Collective Bakery. All super high quality, delicious products with the best ingredients (after all, you're not coming all the way to Copenhagen just to eat at a chain, right?!)
