FORESHADOWING IN STEVEN UNIVERSE - The Past Tells the Future | Steven Universe Discussion

Steven Universe is a well thought through show. From before the first episode even aired, many major plot points were already thought of. One was even hinted at in the pilot episode. Rebecca Sugar knows where she wants to go with the story. Because of being able to know what happens next, the Crewniverse can foreshadow things very early on. It's great for creating fan theories. The smallest details and most nonsensical sentences turn out to be important. The continuity, foreshadowing, and hints this show has are top notch. Garnet being a fusion was one of the of the big reveals that left many of us speechless. But if you were paying close attention you would've know her secret long before Ruby and Sapphire's first official appearance. She has two gems of different cuts, red and blue always are associated with her, her reaction to Stevonnie, the two stars in the opening, and the silhouettes when Alexandrite unfused. Garnet's Universe was a pretty basic episode that had good hints in it. Both for Garnet being made of Ruby and Sapphire and Lars' death and resurrection. Peridot has foreshadowed a few things. Like her robot on Connie's mug, the list of humans, the red eye, the Cluster, the Kindergartens, that will be all. It's nothing compared to the kind of foreshadowing Ronaldo gives! Whenever there's a Ronaldo episode be sure to look out for something that could end up being true. He's already told us about Peridot and the Kindergarten, the Diamond Authority, and the human zoo.
