The EG&L Cable Buddy clips onto the microphone stand and allows the musician to place the ¼” guitar cable end into the holder so the musician knows where it is at all times when not plugged into the guitar.

Additionally, it keeps the cable end in a safe place off the ground where it can be stepped on and damaged. Musicians then have peace of mind that the cable is going to work when then reach for it to plug it into their instrument.
