Скачать или смотреть "Just Do It" Is the Worst Advice and the Best Advice

Ever since I made the video "How to Learn: Pretty Much Anything", I've felt a bit underwhelmed by the "just do it" message, but I wasn't really sure how to explain it at the time.
I'm hoping this can serve as a bit of a spiritual successor.

Written from my perspective on progress, so don't take this as some kind of scientific work or thing to source.
Inspired by Ira Glass' "The Gap". The analogy of the gap was very influential on me as an artist, and I used to revisit it continually as a beginner artist. Recently I revisited it again and found that there was a lot more to "the gap" that related more to my own personal experience, and what it now means to me.
