In this video, we are at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Basically it is a place with the largest captive herd of elephants in the whole world. This place is home to more than 100 elephants. It is in Pinnawala, around 40 kms from Kandy and around 94 kms from Colombo.

The center of attraction here is two twin baby elephants. Their mother "Surangi" gave birth to twin baby elephants which is actually quite rare in elephants. This home of elephants is built on a river "Mahawelli and they take these elephants for bathing in this river twice a day.

If you are in Sri Lanka and if you love animals, this is a must visit place in this country.
