In this episode we return to the Pennsylvania (Clark's Summit-Hallstead) Cut-Off with historian Josh Stull. First, we will tour the 172-year old station in Nicholson, which is nearing the end of its restoration. We also leave where we left off in our "road tour" in Part 25, where we followed the original rail line (now US Route 11) from Clarks Summit to Nicholson: we will pick up the tour at Nicholson and go "westbound" to Alford, PA where we will leave the old line and travel up to the station site and tower on the PA Cut-Off. From there we will visit the "Erie side" at Starrucca Viaduct in Lanesboro, PA. And then we finish our tour by going to two stations along the Clarks Summit-Hallstead Cut-Off: LaPlume and Glenburn.
