As I stepped into the grand, yet deceiving, entrance of the Parkim Ayaz Hotel, Bodrum, I felt a rush of excitement and anticipation. I had booked this hotel for a relaxing getaway, but little did I know, it would turn out to be a catastrophic mistake.
The first red flag was the check-in process. It took an eternity, and the receptionist seemed completely disinterested in our arrival.
