I knitted a 1960's Sweater using the original glitter yarn!

In this video I talk about hand knitting this sweater from a 1966 knitting pattern using the original Lister Bel Air Starspun yarn.

The sweater was knitted on very small needles (as I explain in the video) so it certainly was a labour of love!

Also in this video, I show you my preferred methods for sewing together hand knitted fabric that has wide knitted ribs in it.

I also do a summary of what I thought about knitting this groovy sweater.

Please note that I mention wool when referring to the yarn several times in the video. You may notice me say this but what I actually meant to say was yarn as the fibre content is Courtelle and Lurex. There is no wool fibre in it. I think that's why this vintage yarn has lasted and still looks like a brand new yarn!
