Some Wellington New Zealand trains filmed with a no-sound 8mm film camera in summer 1966/1967 by Robbie McGavin. Robbie was aged 15/16 at the time.

Opening scenes are at Welington's Thorndon locomotive depot and Kaiwharawhara locations, then we follow the main trunk line out to the end of electrification at Paekakariki. Ew and Ed class electric locomotives are featured.
