It was built at the end of 2018 to coincide with the XXIII Central American and Caribbean Games of which the city was the host. It is located in a roundabout in the industrial corridor of the Circunvalar, near its intersection with Vía 40

The work is authored by the Barranquilla architect Diana Escorcia Borelly, the construction was carried out at the initiative of the company Tecnoglass S.A. in collaboration with other companies such as Alutions by Tecnoglass, Aconstruir, Kuraray-Trosifol, Argos, M&P Distribuciones Valledupar (JLQG), GCC, Dow, Alloy, Alutrafic Led, Escenarios Deportivos, Smart Steel, as well as the District Mayor's Office of Barranquilla
