Machine Features:
100lb Stainless steel solvent tank.

How It Works:
This closed loop is designed to operate at very cold temperatures and very low pressures. The extraction solvent will be chilled below -30’C which means the butane will have negative pressure. Nitrogen gas will be used to assist the cold solvent through the cold extractor. The butane will flow from the 100lb solvent tank into the dry ice chilled 4” x 24” material column with one micron filtration. After the solvent passes through the material column it will flow through the 4” x 12” color remediation column and then into the chilled 12” x 24” jacketed collection vessel or “honey pot”. Once all the solvent is in the honey pot it will be heated with hot water flowing through the outer jacket, as the liquid butane evaporates it immediately passes through a 3” x 12” molecular sieve filter which is responsible for removing any moisture from the butane vapor. After the molecular sieve the butane vapor enters a double condensing coil where it is quickly condensed into liquid before finally flowing back into the original solvent delivery tank. Once the butane recovery process is complete the concentrate will be poured out of the collection vessel
