impromptu jam with David Fiuczynski on Epistrophy (Thelonius Monk)

here's an example of using arabic, indian and western blues slides in in a bebop context.
At the beginning of the solo an approximation of a Db Hijaz mode is used. In jazz speak that's
mixo b6b9 but with the b9 about a 1/6th tone sharp and the maj3rd and the 6th a 1/6th tone flat.
