This video explains the important terms and how they should be adjusted when taking video with Sony CX cameras. All of the range use identical menu systems with additions from the more expensive cameras being added, so I show what settings I use with them all when shooting video.

I'm a great fan of camcorders because of their ease of use and the way that they are set up to get good results pretty easily.

The only thing that all of the Sony Camcorders don't offer is a choice of ISO. This is done underneath the bonnet and is fully taken care of by all of them. That means you can't 'force' a low iso setting in darker situations.

The shutter and Aperture settings work in tandem, so you can't work fully auto either, but it does mean that you actually can't easily go wrong
