CENTRE FOR ENGINEERING EDUCATION RESEARCH (CEER)
CMR College of Engineering & Technology has taken an initiation to establish Centre for Engineering Education Research (CEER) in the year 2018 with a goal of training the faculty and students to meet the dynamic needs of the society. CEER provides a platform for students to explore the engineering through Experiential learning, Project based learning and Service based learning. Under the umbrella of CEER, three activity-based courses are introduced i.e. Engineering Exploration & Practice, Introduction to Social Innovation and Social Innovation in Practice.
Entire content is delivered in 3 methods:
Activity based teaching, Visual aided teaching and Traditional teaching

4. OUTCOMES OF CEER
DST funding of Rs 298 Lakhs for establishing STI - Science Technology and Innovation Hub for
Development of Scheduled Tribe in Medchal-Malkajgiri District of Telangana State.
Student Achievements:
A project titled "campus mobility E-vehicle" was shortlisted for 14.81L funding under MSME innovation scheme implemented by Sahil Kumar, K.Harshith Srinivas, Rajnish under the guidance of B. Archana.
Team “Techpanthoms” Won Rs 1 Lakh Cash Prize as Winner in Grand Finale of SIH-2022 Held During 25th and 26th August 2022 At Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune, Organised by AICTE-MOE, New Delhi.
Team Surgical Strike Won Rs 1 Lakh Cash Prize as Winner at Ideathon2k22, Held on 15/09/2022 Organised Kalam Institute of Youth Excellence Foundation, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Project Title “DSP Self Charging Bicycle” has Won the Rs 25K Cash Prize Held during 2nd & 3rd September, 2022 at Maharishi Markandeshwar University(MMU) Mullana, Ambala.
Vishnu Srivatsava, P Siddartha, Rishi Balla, Shashankh Kanni, Have Won 1stPrize in the Hackathon22 Held During 3rd& 4thJune 2022 Organized By J-Hub, JNTU Hyderabad.
Team JKLMN (Roti Making) won Rs 50,000 Cash Prize as Winner in Grand Finale of SIH-2020 Held During 21th and 23th December 2020
Project titled “Smart Dustbin” implemented by Varun Sandesh (20H51A04L1), Mani Shankar (20H51A04L8), Poojitha (20h51A04L8), Shreeya (20H51A04P2) has won 1st🏆 Prize in Kalam Ideathon (Project Expo) Held on 15/10/2022 at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.
Project titled “Mini Dish Washer” implemented by K.Sai Harsha(CSE), K.Sreehaas(CSE), K.Vivek(CSE), K.Sushmitha(CSE), G.Kavya (CSE) has won 2nd🏆 Prize in Kalam Ideathon (Project Expo) Held on 15/10/2022 at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.
Project titled “Drone for Defence” implemented by Yeswanth (MECH), Harsh Amilpur(CSM), Sai Sreeja ( CSC ), Deepika ( EEE ) have won in the Project Prototype competition Held on 15/10/2022 at BVRIT, Narsapur.
8 Innovations were selected under Intinta Innovator Programme initiated by State of Telangana
CEER has implemented 900+ Community Projects/Models/Prototypes from the academic year 2018-19.

Following the MoE’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme, under this Scheme College has Adopted Five Villages to bring transformational changes in rural villages by giving Technological support in various domains.
Signed an MoU with Purdue University (West Lafayatte, USA) On Behalf of IEEE & EPICS.
CEER has signed MOUs with 7 various reputed NGOs and MOAs with 11 Educational Institutions.
Organized “Community Partners Meet” and “Demo of Advanced Grass Roots Innovation” meet on 31stJuly 2021.
7. CEER Assistance to ZPHS Schools
• CEER faculty contributed towards implementing ATAL labs at various ZPHS and Private Schools. from 23rd OCT 2021 to 18thDEC 2021 (Duration of nine weeks). The list of faculty members and students are here attached below.
• CEER has conducted BRAIN RAIN-2K22(A Project Exhibition Competition for School Students) at CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Kandlakoya, Medchalon 26th March 2022.
• Can Do Workshop and Personality Development Program for 12 ZPHS Schools Students” was jointly organized Ullas Trust on 4th March 2022 under NSS.
• Can Do Workshop and Personality Development Program for 12 ZPHS Schools Students” was jointly organized Ullas Trust on 15th October 2022.
