Friday 30th of August 2024.

Starting off Day 3 of my Natlan Adventures, I pick up another Commission Quest from Tahmures, who needed my help saving one of her scholar friends from a problem.

Heading straight to the location, I managed to find this friend, and her bodyguard, and I save them from a bunch of up-to-no-gooders trying to steal their stuff. This lady thanks me, and I immediately realize this is Alrani, the scholar lady that has been going through a rough time trying to get her thesis approved by the Akademiya, and the former Treasure Hoarder boss lady, called Narzam, who is now looking out for Alrani while she produces a new thesis.

Long story short, a bit of lore for these 2 ladies, Alrani's thesis from Inazuma was curbed due to being late in a "first come first served" basis in submission, and she encountered Narzam at the Ruins of Dahri, near the Desert of Hadramaveth in Sumeru, due her spiraling depression and escapism, causing Narzam to feel sorry for her, and is now helping her out to get her back on her feet.

That's the gist of it. Anyways, so I managed to save them, with Narzam putting in work as well. After our little chat and get together, we said our farewells, and made for our separate ways. Well, I guess I'll be seeing them somewhere in Natlan again, possibly around the People of the Springs next time. Hopefully it's a good encounter, rather than another rough one next time, lol..

Wrapping that up, I headed back and delivered the good news to Tahmures, and completed today's Commission Quest. Man, that was eventful.

Anyways, that's all for this Commission Quest. Man, I really love how I get to meet all the friends I met on my journey in some way sometimes, especially people like Alrani. Hopefully she succeeds in her thesis this time, now with the help of Narzam, who's looking out for her.
