This is a very fast take on the dissolution of the Soviet Union, from roughly 1988 through 1992. Sorry if we missed anyone, but trying to do it in a minute was… a lot.

The fun part about it, is that right at the end (SPOILERS INC.) for a brief period, everyone, even Russia, had left the Soviet Union EXCEPT Kazakhstan. Gotta give it to them for their dedication.

Then Kazakhstan left on December 16th 1992- but the Soviet bureaucracy still existed, only voting itself out of existence on December 26th!
So in a way, for 10 days, the Soviet Union existed as a nation with no territory.
