Composed and sang her own special song for Father Chevalier

This song was composed by Sr. M. Solange, FDNSC and sung by herself and the Novices. The content of the song goes something like this:

Magnificent is the Lord.
Honor to knight his servant Chevalier
Of compassionate love.
1) Passionate devotee of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
He founds a spiritual family,
composed of priests, lay associates and nuns.
2) Despite his busy life,
He developed great qualities
and never neglected any spiritual exercise.
3) Deeply rooted in
the Eucharist, its deep humility, its
tenderness, patience and
obedience;
4) His spirit of sacrifice and
of immolation, his zeal for glory
of the Father, his great thirst for the salvation of souls
His love of the poor;
5) For Father J. Chevalier,
our lives must be transformed into a daily Eucharist,
to love.
6) He reminds us to examine our conscience;
change our ideas, because most of them are wrong,
contrary to the Gospel.
7) When God wants a work to be carried out, Chevalier tells us,
obstacles are means. What we have beyond what is necessary
belongs to the poor.
8) Our Lady of the Sacred Heart,
title given to Mary by Chevalier,
recommends us to do everything in the mission with her.
9) That his ardent missionary zeal
inspires us
today to live the gift of self with fidelity and audacity.
