Welcome back to Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. This is the fifth instalment in the Delta Force franchise, as created by Novalogic in 2003, and is a Sandbox Tactical Shooter. The story follows the missions of Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta, also known as the Delta Force, as they tackle Farah Aideed and the Habar Gedir in an interventionist effort to bring freedom and peace to the people of Mogadishu who are being controlled by the warlord, using guns and food scarcity. The game has more scripted events as compared to its predecessors and a more linear level structure, giving it a more action-oriented vibe. However, it still requires the player to remain cautious and plan their tactics on the fly, making it a tactical shooter.

Joint Special Operations Command has identified Farah Aideed's primary garage, where he produces weaponised Technics, AKA Technicals. This makes it a prime target in their war against the Habar Gedir and provides them with an opportunity to solidify their position in Mogadishu.

Because of the overwhelming odds that they face, Delta Force will need a cover in this Flash Raid in the form of a convoy. Their task is simple. Infiltrate the garage alongside the convoy, which will move away once they've been inserted. They are to utilise the confusion and chaos to infiltrate the garage and use Satchel Charges to demolish any and all active Technicals as well as any means of creating further ones.

Time is of the essence, for the longer they take, the stiffer the resistance they will face while exfiltrating.

Should they need support, the convoy will roll back in to provide firepower while they extract.
