Using the 555 Schmitt trigger circuit and a RC filter circuit to produce a clean switch action from a noisy switch. Circuit diagrams and oscilloscope wave forms are presented.

The values of the resistors and capacitor chosen for this demo were for convenience, and they did a good job with the switch used. The resistors don't need to be the same values. You can change the values by a wide margin to fit your circumstance.
