Meet Narzullayevs family who passed the pottery skills and gained experience from generation to generation and preserved the unique Uzbek ceramic art and techniques. Gijduvan Ceramics school of ceramics is distinguished by its geometric patterns, ornaments, and colors. The craftsmen possess and apply an old technique in which the glaze of the products is made purely from plants. This process ensures that ceramic plates can be used for food consumption without hesitation.
With the Ready4Trade project, they set up their online store on Etsy and started selling globally online.
Gijduvan Ceramics is one of over 200 small businesses and artisans in Central Asia supported by the EU-funded #Ready4Trade project.
