One nuclear-armed state fired a cruise missile at another nuclear-armed state this week. They were not at war, and it did not start one. - This was the headline in NY times on March 12 2022.

Well thats exactly what happened on 9th March 2022 when a Brahmos missile launched from Sirsa Haryana, India flew 124 km deep in Pakistan and dropped from a height of 40k feet in a small city of the Mian Channu. It was traveling at Mach 3 speed which is 3 times the speed of sound.
Fortuntely it was empty and not carrying any warhead.
