Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal/Embarkation walk-through and Sail Away on the CARNIVAL MAGIC!

Join us as we take you on a journey and walkthrough of the Port Canaveral Cruise terminal, then we finally step foot on the beautiful Carnival Magic. Have a look around the atrium and ride up the glass elevators with us. Finally, have a look at the beautiful scenery as we sail out of the port. (We also get a sneak peek at the other ships including Norwegian Escape, Disney, Royal Caribbean - Wonder of the Seas℠, and the impressive Carnival Mardi Gras! While we're sailing out to sea, you can also see Kennedy Space Center off in the distance!

The Carnival Magic was located in Port Canaveral - Terminal 6.
It is a very early port and terminal to access and we found it to not be very busy at all. It is handicap accessible and easy to navigate. Wheelchair service is provided by the cruise line, per industry standards. There is ample room in front of each terminal for passenger drop-offs.

Wi-Fi is available at no charge in terminals 1 and 6, as well as in Jetty Park, an adjacent public recreation area with a beach, marina, campsites, and RV hookups.

All terminals are clearly marked, as is the signage leading to respective parking garages. Each cruise line offers its own version of expedited VIP service inside its respective terminals.
Port parking is available for $17 per day but we found an outside parking company called "GO PORT" for a rate of around $11 per day. Their service included a shuttle bus (with luggage handling) to and from the terminal.

Our journey starts off on the GoPort shuttle bus as the driver takes us to the cruise terminal. Once there, he unloads your luggage. Give him a tip.

Paperwork, Customs, metal detector, and x-ray machine, then you are on your own.

We then enter the cruise ship greeted by friendly staff. You can now get a peek at the gorgeous atrium wth glass elevators... we take it up to deck 10 for the sail away.

Port Canaveral is ranked as the second-busiest cruise port in the world and serves as a popular homeport for world-class cruise ships. The Port is also famous for its fine dining, rocket launches, and other attractions unique to the Florida Space Coast.
Port Canaveral is ideally situated for pre (and post) cruise fun, due to its proximity to Orlando attractions, Cocoa Beach, and the Kennedy Space Center.

The port is a well-designed hub set to ensure that your arrival into or departure from Florida is completely stress-free.
