Thiruppampuram is situated 28km from kumbakonam. This temple is most popular as Tirupampuram where both Rahu and Kethu are seen in a single idol form unlike in other temples where they are separately shown. Many devotees come here to get rid of Rahu Dosha, Ketu Dosha, sarpa Dosha and get beneficial results when these two planets are in malefic position which causes ill-health, infertility and late marriage. This temple is located between Navagraha temples, Thirunallar and Thirunageswaram.
