The WCoS is a not for profit school of modern sword combat. The focus is on unarmored sword martial arts, so protective gear (armor) is worn for sparring protection only. The effectiveness of an attack is considered as if the combatants were only wearing common street clothes.

An annual "Best of the Best" tournament is held for the upper ranked members, conducted in a round-robin format with each challenger holding a circle and facing each of the other challengers. The tournament winner is based on win percentage.

This video shows the highlights of the matches from the July 2018 tournament. Matches without a clean and clear victor are fought again.

The combatants shown here have all had many years of training before they were permitted to train with steel swords. Do not attempt this without proper training and protective gear.
