Taiwan has a great high speed rail system, linking the biggest part of the population. Due to the geographical shape of Taiwan, by far most people live on the east coast of the main island. The high speed trains reduced the travel time a lot however the stations might be on more remote spots (I explain this in the video). In this video I tell about the Taiwanese railway system in general, show the main railway station of Taipei, what is also Taiwans biggest intermodal transport hub, show the high speed trains, THSR 700T, views from the train between Taipei & Tainan and the situation of stations in Tainan.
