Ukrainian bakery employs people with mental disabilities

Good Bread from Good People is the first bakery in Ukraine that employs people with mental disabilities. In a country where they struggle to find work, it gives them a chance to earn money as bakers and socialize.

The project was founded by Vladyslav Malashchenko. He believes that more social enterprises will help people with disabilities live better, more fulfilling and integrated lives. He says Good Bread from Good People doesn’t just make and sell delicious cakes. It is also changing society’s attitudes toward people with disabilities.
