Meat Puppets Live at The Stone 1985 - Full Show - Upgrade/Update

On March 1st 1985 the Meat Puppets played at the Stone in San Fransisco along with SST labelmates SWA, Saccharine Trust, Minutemen and Hüsker Dü. Each band's set was taped by the Target Video crew and parts of the show were released on VHS by SST under the name "The Tour". The video was named after the tour this show was part of which was aplty named; "The Tour".

Soundboard audio of the whole show was also most likely recorded as there was high demand for people to plug their cassette recorders in. The soundman allowed one taper at a time to record "their" band, leading each act to be probably recorded onto separate cassette tapes. The Meat Puppets' set was recorded from the soundboard onto cassette using a Sony D5M. I'm not sure who recorded the audio but it was later digitised by Mike Singal.

I've compiled the officially released video of Meat Puppets' set along with some leftover video from a rough cut and the soundboard audio source that has been circulating. The rough cut footage is from a tape compiled by Meat Puppets' drummer Derrick Bostrom. Fans would usually receive tapes like that from trading bootlegs with him.

Unfortunately there isn't video available for the whole set, but that's where the soundboard audio comes in. Despite the soundboard audio source being of higher quality, I've often opted to use the audio that comes attached to the video when it's available as it's a nicer mix at times. I've also found that the tape from which the higher quality audio came from ran at inconsistent speeds which was an absolute nightmare to try and synch up with the video.

I've uploaded this show before but some songs were missing and I made guesses as to what order the songs should be in. Hence having "Upgrade" in the title this time.
