This piece of soundtrack was composed by Tero Kostermaa (AKA "Teque") for Remedy Entertainment's "Max Payne", when the game was still in development.

But somewhere down the line, Teque's work was scrapped when the game's art direction changed and the game received brand-new music composed by Peter Hajba, so later Teque released his scrapped work on his official website at www.teque.planet-d.net as freeware MP3s.
