In this video I am taking a look at the J Rockett .45 Caliber Overdrive pedal. The .45 is a JTM45 in a box tone based around a combination of the Malcolm Young rhythm tone, and the Pete Townsend Live at Leeds tone. J Rockett worked hard to capture the tone of this iconic rock amp along with the feel.

The pedal is very dynamic and responsive to playing styles and guitar changes, just like a real JTM45 would be. This means you can dial in those iconic Marshall tones, without upsetting the neighbours.

In the video I am using my Stanford Guitars Crossroad Marquee and my Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional which are plugged into the Blackstar Studio 10 6L6. The amp is running via the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X and the reverb is coming from the Surfy Industries Surfy Bear Classic.
