Two days in Luxembourg City | People and Places

Discovering some of the people and places in Luxembourg City in this travel vlog, whilst discovering some of the city's history and heritage.Two days in Luxembourg City, Europe’s richest country just wasn't enough. As I travel on a budget, I do everything on the cheap, so I started by walking. I visited Monument of Remembrance or the Gelle Fra as it’s known and Luxembourg Cathedral discovering the treasures within. I saw the tomb of John of Bohemia, probably the worlds bravest man, when he died at the Battle of Crecy in 1346. I visit a memorial plaque to Jan Palach another brave man who stood up for what he believed in. The Place Guillaume and the Old fish market also feature before going to the Three Towers, and old entrance gate into Luxembourg.

Back to the historical location for the second part of the video with the Luxembourg Casemates, the Alzette Valley, Jacob’s Gate, Trier Gate ending with another section of Luxembourg’s City Walls, before climbing the ancient steps to the Guard Room and the top of the fortifications.
