BMW 435i F32 N55 Resonator delete exhaust vs stock

** edit ** in the video - instead of "catless" it should have been "resonator delete"

Here is a 2014 435i with JB4 and can flap on open.
Wanted more growl from the stock exhaust without introducing drone on the highway. Most economical and quickest method to achieve this without replacing the stock exhaust was to remove (cut out and weld a straight pipe) the resonator. Biggest difference I found is the amount of pop after throttle lift-off (around 1:20 in the video), it sounds great. Overall the exhaust note went up a few dB but not as much as I'd expect. Change is subtle and I wish the 435i came stock sounding like this - its just enough growl on WOT to appreciate the beauty of a note of the N55. Perhaps next step in getting more exhaust note would be to weld in a high flow cat...granted at that point perhaps saving up for a proper exhaust is a better option. Enjoy!
