In the latest developments concerning the 2020 Delhi riots case, the Delhi High Court has dismissed the bail plea of prime accused Umar Khalid and said that it finds no merit in the appeal. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party has lauded the decision of the court and reiterated its stance on Khalid. The BJP said that Khalid is responsible for the riots and that he does not deserve to be released.
