This video deals with the full Biography of the famous revolutionary poet Kazi Nazrul Islam in Bengali ( বিদ্রোহী কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম : এক মহাজীবন : সম্পূর্ণ জীবনী ). He was born on 25th May, 1899 at a village named Churulia in Bardhaman District , now in West Bengal. Attracted to folk theatre, Nazrul joined a leto (travelling theatrical group). He worked and travelled with them, learning to act, as well as writing songs and poems for the plays and musicals. Later, Unable to continue paying his school fees, Nazrul left the school and joined a group of Kaviyals. Then he also took jobs as a cook at a well-known bakery of the region, and at a tea stall in the town of Asansol. In 1914. Nazrul studied up to grade 10 but did not appear for the matriculation pre-test examination. He joined the British Indian Army at the age of eighteen. 
He went to Karachi and spent three years at the battlefield. During this period, Nazrul read extensively the works of Rabindranath Tagore and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, as well as the Persian poets Hafez, Omar Khayyam, and Rumi. Returning from the battlefield on 1920, he started his career as a poet. He composed so many poems full of revolutionary spirit. His remarkable works are works "Notuner Gaan", "Bidrohi", 'Pralayollas", "Dhumketu", "Agniveena", "Bandhan Hara" etc. He also wrote almost three thousand songs which are called as Nazrul Geeti. The Notable award Padma Bhushan was given him in 1960. He was called National poet of Bangladesh. He left us on 29th August, 1976.
