The Hummingbird is a fully autonomous VTOL Tailsitter UAV.

Bringing in the best of both worlds - The hovering capabilities and precision of a multirotor as well as the speed, endurance and efficiency of a fixed wing aircraft, the Hummingbird is a fully autonomous aircraft with highly programmable and flexible flight planning.

It boasts an STM32 H7 based processor that allows up to 32khz PID loop cycles and a plethora of expansion slots including standard UARTs and CAN ports, that can accommodate a variety of sensors (and even redundant sensors) for a precise, worry free flight operation.

Navigated by the latest and greatest u-blox M9N GPS that gives it a sub-1 meter square precision, It can operate on various GNSS conventions like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. It is capable of locking on to 12-15 satellites n under 30 seconds, and even comes equipped with it's own on-board magnetometer.

Upcoming models are being anticipated to carry more precise mapping/surveillance equipment like multi-spectral cameras, stereo cameras, photogrammetry cameras and gimbals, making it the perfect companion for long range, endurance based mapping/survey applications.
