ABOUT THE VIDEO

August 2008 marked the beginning of a great filmmaking adventure for RayAft !

After the short silent film "Les Temps Modernes II", "Jack wal Fasoulia" was the first ever trial to write, film and play in a film.
It is also the first fairy tale adapted to screen in RayAft's repertoire, something that would become more common in the following years and subsequent works.

Indeed, by 2018, I had already gone to film school from 2011 to 2016.
But I wanted to remember the early days of experimenting with filmmaking.

So I released on my private Instagram account this short anniversary trailer !

SMALL BIO

Raymond Aftimos is a Lebanese film school graduate from IESAV-USJ and works as a filmmaker, director, editor, writer, screenwriter and researcher.

Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …

He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
