The Best Value MIG Welder for Beginners | Eastwood MIG 90 Setup and Test

Описание к видео The Best Value MIG Welder for Beginners | Eastwood MIG 90 Setup and Test

I started out with a flux core welder and have saved close to 4000 dollars by fixing cracks in my motorcycle frame, repairing a fog light bracket on my 4runner, and installing a catalytic converter on my van. so far all my welds have held up great. The problem with flux core welding is that you can't weld thin steel well without constantly burning holes through. I need to repair rusted through body panels on my van so it's time to switch to an actual MIG welder. Eastwood reached out and hooked it up with their MIG 90 welder. This Welder is good up to 1/8-inch steel which is great for light-duty work and is all I need right now. I go over the differences between flux core and MIG welding. Then I show how to set up this welder and do my very first MIG weld. MIG welding is much easier, cleaner, and faster than flux core and I absolutely love using this machine. Eastwood also sent me their XL view helmet and it makes seeing what you're doing so much nicer. I hope this video was helpful and thanks for watching!

Warning:
Welding can be dangerous, do this at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own actions. Always use proper safety equipment for the job.
